Sofia Lund '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sofia Lund but call me Sof. I am currently going into my senior year and am looking for a school that will support me both academically and athletically. My leadership on an off the field is something, in my opinion, that is hard to come by. The difference between a leader and a boss is a leader will show you how by walking and supporting you the entire way while a boss tells you what to do without any support or guidance. Building a team-up takes heart, soul, and dedication I am willing to give. I try my very best to offer positive, non-judgemental help and support to those who want it.  It is very easy to look et every mistake and loss as a bad, confidence-draining experience: in life and soccer. I try my best to take the positives out of every loss, lousy practice, failed test, and any curveball life has to throw.  I put in work outside of practice because I want to contribute everything I can to my team: no matter where I play. My dream is to go through college, earn my major, and make amazing memories that will last a life time. Soccer, school, and bettering myself are some of my many passions and if I have an opportunity to continue to grow my love for them at the same time, I'll take it any day.
