Karina Kuzdas '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karina Kuzdas I am from DeForest WI, I am a CB/CM for DeForest Highschool and will graduate in 2024. I have been playing soccer since I was six, it has become a huge part of my life but I love every second of it.

One of my favorite things about soccer is being able to set goals for myself, my freshmen year it was to make varsity and my hard work paid off and I not only became a varsity starter but even received honorable mention as a center back which up until then I had never played. In my sophomore year, my goal was to make first or second team, I made second team but I'm very proud of myself non the less because center back is still a little new to me and I'm always learning so much. I do have long-term goals as well, my biggest one is playing high-level college soccer while pursuing my academic career, and with only a few years of soccer left that goal is becoming closer and closer. 

School is another huge part of my life I'm always challenging myself by taking rigorous courses and trying to maintain my 4.0 GPA. My favorite subjects are anything  S.T.E.M it has always been something I was good at and understood well. 

I think I am a very hard worker in and out of soccer and school, I'm always doing things make my self better weather that's doing practice at home or doing ACT tutoring to get the best score I can, I want to continue to improve as much as I can and the only way to do that is hard work.
