My name is Andie Diorio. Ever since my first step onto the soccer field at 5 years old, the sport has been my passion. I started playing more competitively as I got older and realized that I want to take my future in my soccer career to the next step: playing at the collegiate level.
I've always been a goal-oriented player. Whether it's improving specific skills, achieving fitness goals, or studying game film, I consistently work to improve. I'm known for being coachable, driven, and for putting in the extra work. My speed, understanding of game strategy, quickness, and agility both in running and handling the ball have been key assets. During my freshman year at Arrowhead High School, I was a starter for the JV 1 team—leading in goals with 27 and earning MVP honors from my teammates. I was promoted to Varsity by the end of the season, where I contributed 1 goal and was named Player of the Game. As a sophomore, I started on the Varsity Reserve team, and I now compete on the ECNL Regional League U18/19 team at FC Wisconsin.
The hard work I put into my goals doesn't stop at soccer; I am a highly committed student. Having taken 5 AP classes and one honors class, I've earned a 4.04 GPA and am 20th in my class of 506. A noteworthy contribute to my success throughout school and soccer sprouted from participating in martial arts, beginning at the age of 2. When working to get my black belt at age 9 and second degree black belt at age 14, I've accumulated and applied immense perseverance and work ethic. I'm determined to find a college match where I can continue to receive an exceptional education and play the sport I love.
A bit about my personality: I always strive to maintain a positive mindset and encourage my teammates both on and off the field. I truly believe that positivity, self-belief, and support help overcome obstacles and fuel my love for soccer. I'm very excited to go through the recruiting process and begin my college experience.
