I am a 5' 6'' Senior at New Holstein High School. Soccer is my life, I would play it every day if I had the chance. I'm never too sore or tired to play soccer. This is why I would love to carry on past high school and play! My first year in high school I was the only freshman on the returning State Champion Varsity team for division 3. I started every game as the back defender. As a team, we were sectional champions which means we went to state. My Sophomore year I started as Center Defender and was awarded First Team All Conference Defender. Last year I started at Center Midfield and was team Captain. I again was awarded First Team All Conference as Midfield. My team also voted me MVP and gave me the team Workhorse award.
Along with my high school team I have been selected to play this year for the Appleton Goal Getters. We will be playing in the Midwest Regional League. I am looking forward to playing at this level and competing for the State Cup. Prior to playing with Appleton I was a memeber of the Plymouth Panthers playing at the State Sectional level. I have started every game and helped contribute to winning first place for three years in our league. All of the hard work I have put into soccer over the years has led to many new friendships and opportunities that I have been grateful for. I can't imagine myself hanging up my cleats for good after my last game my senior year.
But before being an athlete, I'm a student. Having a job and also being in all sorts of school clubs and activities after school, I have still been able to achieve A Honor Roll throughout high school. I maintain a 3.7/4.0 GPA. I am currently taking 2 AP classes and plan on taking 2 more next year. In college I plan on studying for forensic science, physical therapy or maybe an athletic trainer. I have not decided on which one yet.
