Hi! My name is Jennifer and Im a junior at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco, California. I have been swimming for literally my whole life - from as long as I can remember to now. Swimming is a second home to me and have always felt challenged to dive into the pool filled with opportunities to be a greater person and athlete everyday.
Im currently competitively swimming for and with the Pacifica Sea Lions Aquatic Club and have been apart of the Lincoln high school varsity swim team. Prior to swimming with PSL, I swam for the San Francisco Serpents. Swimming has taught me so much about the values of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, growth mindset, goal setting, commitment, preserving, and hard-work. Additionally, I've learned over the years to always remember that Im not just doing it for myself, but also for my team & teammates; that I have the courage to step-up for my teammates when they can't and to lean on them during difficult times. After suffering multiple injuries and am currently dealing with a back and knee injury of eight months, I have not taken break from the greatness of this sport and am determined (more than ever) to keep pushing myself to the fullest.
My absolutely dream is to be apart of a college that drives me to my very best both athletically and academically. And, to have a community that are like-minded and are willing to sacrifice for each other no matter what comes our way, in order to reach our full potentials. My goal is to major in medicine (specifically neuroscience) through a university that matches with my values as an athlete and student.
