I will graduate high school in 2023 at Grandview High School in Aurora, Colorado. I have interest in both the academic and athletic aspects of my collegiate career. Collegiate swimming is something that I would be excited to participate in.
I have been swimming club since I was 10 years old, and with summer swim leagues prior to that. Swimming is a huge part of my life, and I have always dreamed of pursuing a college swimming career. I have achieved Sectionals finals, Futures qualifying and Winter Juniors qualifying and finals. I am working with my current club coach to continue to drop more time, specifically in breaststroke.
Spring 2022, I made best times in long course 100/200 Breaststroke at Speedo Sectionals in Austin, as well as personal best 50 Breaststroke, qualifying for Speedo Winter Jr. Nationals where I dropped more time in the 100 Breast, qualifying for C final. I continued this progression after posting best times after short course at Speedo Western Zone Championships at the end of this summer. Most recently in February of 2022, I also had a career best during high school 100 Breaststroke short course this season at altitude, breaking an 18 year old school team record, and led along with my team to post another record as breaststroke leg in our 200 Medley relay. High School also includes First Team Academic award. I am excited to continue my journey and time improvements with club and high school swim and going forward for college swim.
My academics are also extremely important to me. I currently carry a very high GPA in Honors and AP courses of study and Academic letters along with my Athletic letters and accolades. I completed 3 strong AP exams the end of junior school year, with 3 more senior year, as well as strong ACT and SAT scores from April 2022. High School activities include NHS and Spanish and Math honor societies, with volunteerism, and both an Academic and Athletic letter recipient for all completed years of high school. I will major in mechanical engineering for my collegiate career. I also received Scholastic All American in 2022 from USA Swimming.
I have this base profile set up on NSCA, where you can view a section of video from Sectionals—please use 1:14.50 as the starting time for the video for m 200 Breast swim. I am posting videos also on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClrv8uxJ6bOVViXWVwcxl-g/videos. Also find me on SwimCloud for videos and stats at https://www.swimcloud.com/swimmer/881161/ or search for me on USA Swimming or Meet Mobile. Additionally, our high school MaxPreps site stats are here: https://www.maxpreps.com/co/aurora/grandview-wolves/athletes/paige-dailey/swimming/girls/stats/?careerid=cq13crh67i1aa#year=22-23. I am pursuing a college program that has both swim and engineering opportunities that fit my goals.
