Addisyn Murray '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Addisyn Murray, I was born and have been raised in Colorado my whole life. I am a third-generation swimmer, following both my grandma’s and my mom (who swam collegiately in Southern California). I had my first swim lesson when I was two and I’ve adored the water ever since. I started swimming competitively for a club team at nine, finding passion for the first stroke (breaststroke), and developing that love for the distance free and IM. At the same time I was starting to find my true passion of becoming a Veterinarian.  

With swimming on a club team so young, it has helped me become a better student/swimmer, teammate and person. Swimming for all these years has helped me focus on the grind. To keep my head down and grind out a practice, a meet, homework, a test and life. Because swimming is about the grind. To show up everyday and put in the work as a teammate and person.  It does not matter what event that I am put into, I will grind it out with no questions asked while being the best teammate I can possibly be. 

I am looking for a team that appreciates the grind and loves the water as much as I do. I am looking for a home away from home.  I am looking for friendship and growth of team camaraderie.  I am looking to get after it in the water and in the classroom, on my own, here we go.  Thank you.
