Ayla Rowan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ayla. I have been swimming since I was six years old and I have always loved the water.  I have recently started swimming distance and have even done some 5k open water swims. I am very hardworking and responsible in and out of the water. This summer I have started working as a swim instructor in order to pass on my love of swimming to the next generation.  My hard work and responsibility shine through on my academics as well. I am taking honors classes and am currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA.  My goal in college is to get an education where I can become a doctor who specializes and works with children.  Next year I am enrolled in the Health Sciences program which is a two year long class that will introduce me into the medical field environment.  My hope in college is to pull these two worlds together and get a great education along side a great swimming experience.  Thank you so much for reading!
