Sydney OConnell '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sydney.  I've been swimming since I was five years old and absolutely fell in love with the sport from the very beginning.  I am a passionate student athlete who believes in hard work and the power of positive school and athletic culture.  I am a strong leader within the Pomperaug School community and  athletics department.  I'm a multi-sport athlete who understands how to balance both school work and athletic expectations.  The most exciting experience I've had so far as a swimmer was winning both the SWC Conference Title and the Class M State Championship two years in a row.  I'm so excited for my senior year of swimming for PHS.  I look forward to hearing from you soon!
