Amanda Ford '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amanda Ford. I began swimming at a young age at ARAC in Orange, CT. By about age 10, I made the move to swim for WAC in Woodbridge, CT. From there I flourished as a swimmer, making the discovery that I truly have a love for fly and swimming in general.
When I am not at practice, I am working hard on my studies, making contributions to my clubs, or working at the local Parks and Recreation in my town. The pool is like my second home, any bad days can instantly melt away as soon as I hit the water. The adrenaline rush when I get behind the blocks is truly amazing and something I hope to never lose. I would love to continue my swimming journey in college!
