Alena Kraus '18 Recruiting Profile

    My lifetime goal has been to make it to the Olympics, and competing at Trials this year has been a big step towards that goal. My goal time would have put me in Semi-finals and I'm dedicated to continuing to improve myself and my times to get myself farther; which, of course, includes competing in many more events than just the two-hundred fly in 2020. I set high standards for myself and work hard to make them, one of those being to always come through for my team. I pride myself on being accountable, both in and out of the pool.   

    Concerning my major, I want to study art and eventually work as a character designer for video games and movies; I'd really like to be able to give the same enjoyment to others that I feel when I watch my favorite movies or play my favorite games.
