Personal Statement

In college I hope to diligently work hard on my studies and in the pool. I am willing to work hard to achieve the goals I set for myself, and am willing to give it my all no matter the circumstances. As soon as I jumped in the pool for the first time I new I wanted to swim in college. I am not afraid to work hard to get to where I need to be.

I have 2 hours of practice in the pool in the afternoons five days a week, swimming on average 6,000 yards. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we have a one hour practice in the mornings where we swim an average of 3,000 yards. we also do a couple days out of the week in the weight room as well as dryland exercises.
