Hannah Huante - Senior, Colquitt County High School
I have been swimming competitively for five years, and before fully dedicating myself to the sport, I was a dual-sport athlete, passionate about both diving and swimming. However, as I transitioned into junior high and high school, balancing two sports along with my academics became challenging. Recognizing that I needed to focus on one in order to excel in both athletics and academics, I made the decision to fully commit to swimming, while continuing to push myself academically.
Currently, I am enrolled in AP Physics alongside multiple dual enrollment courses, having already successfully completed AP Chemistry and AP Calculus as a junior. Just as I strive for excellence in the classroom, I maintain that same level of dedication in my extracurricular activities. I volunteer at my church, the local YMCA, and with Partnership for Success, where I’ve had the privilege of positively impacting younger generations.
At Titans Swimming Academy, I am a USA Swimming Junior Coach, working with athletes ages 4-8. In this role, I share my knowledge of swimming and help instill the team culture that we all value. Our mission at Titans is to build productive relationships, make a positive impact, and empower youth to become significant members of society through training and competition rooted in wisdom, justice, and moderation. This philosophy has become a core part of who I am.
As one of the first swimmers from Titans Swimming Academy to pursue collegiate-level swimming, I am driven to set a foundation of excellence for future Titans athletes. My goal is not only to compete at the next level but to inspire those who follow me.
As a teammate, I prioritize support, encouragement, and fostering unity. I believe I will be a valuable addition to your team, bringing hard work, relentless dedication, and a strong sense of virtue. I am persistent in my pursuits and consistent in my commitment to both personal and team growth.
