Alejandra Lemus '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches! My name is Alejandra Lemus I am 15 years old from Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Central America). Currently I am in 10th grade with a 86.0 overall average; Since I started swimming I dreamed about going to college in the States and improve my swimming career and also in my academics, I plan to study something related with medicine and sports maybe Kinesiology or Nutrition. I would be a very good addition for your team because I grind every day until I reach my goals and objectives, I ain't a quitter and I will do everything  that I can do to make my teammates better and to accomplish season goals. 

I have been National and Central American Champion in multiple times and in different events but my  strongest events are the 50 free, 50,100 and 200 breast, 200 IM, also I have represented  Honduras in the Codicader Games, UANA championship held in Lima, Peru in 2020. Also I won the best Fina Scorer at the national individual championship with 486 points in 50 breast, My resumé is quite short but i have only swimming competitively only for about 4 years and in one of them Covid hit so... yeah.

Swimming has open me many doors to new possibilities and one of them is having the oportuniy to study outside of my country and develop at a different level in my academics and in swimming, I know that studying in a foreign country is difficult but i am willing to accept that challenge in order to reach my goals and make my family proud. 

I am looking for a college that can improve my skills academically and athletically, a swimming team and a coach that can help me reach my highest level and that can push me every day to be better. Can't wait to see what the future has for me!! Don't hesitase to reach out! :) Cheers.
