Like most teenagers, I have no one to thank except for my parents. They have consistently believed in me and my aspirations throughout my short years of life, and that truly has impacted me. I first began swimming around 8 years old on my home town's summer league, found the passion for it, then began swimming for a club 30 minutes away. After losing my mom, swimming has been held close to me since then, and to this day it is something I will never want to let go or live without.
Coming from a small town influenced my growth as a human being along with my athleticism. Despite having a struggling experience trying to be able to swim, I officially transfered schools for the opportunity of swimming. My hopes to continue the sport into college are high. They also contain hard-work, commitment, and adaptability. With the history and life I have lived, I know that I have the character and determination for what it takes to be a collegiate athlete on your team.
