Personal Statement

I am a hard worker and I put effort into anything no matter inside or out of the pool! At school I help with the special Olympics! This organization helps people with disalbilities be able to play sports just like any other person! Also in the summer I teach kids swim lessons. This summer I will be a Junior Counselor at my summer camp in Vermont! At this camp I am striving to learn leadership and what this means in our society today. I will be able to help younger girls learn the importance of this so they can do the same thing in the future!

ASA is a boutique swimming team in the DC area. I was on RMSC, recruited by NCAP, but chose ASA for the opportunities that ASA gives me. Swimming and traveling with 15/18's to many more meets than most 9th graders would be included in. This team is a great fit for me and I feel like I really have improved!
2011 RMSC (Advanced juniors )
I was on this team when I was 10 until 2013 when I was 13. It was a great experience and I had great coaches. I needed to switch to a team that was smaller and focused more on my events
2009 Providence YMCA
I lived in providence rhoad island until I was 10 and moved to Chevy chase, Maryland! It was a great team and a great introduction to real competitive swimming!
