I started swimming when I was 4 years old. It became my favorite thing to do in the summer. At 8, my competitive career really began when I started swimming for the Weymouth Waves.
What I love about swimming is the after feeling of training so hard, that you know you're going to do well in your next meet. I also love the people who train with me, my team becomes my family. I'm with them for at least 2 1/2 hours a day, everyday, and they've become one of the biggest parts of my life.
The reason I want to swim in college is because this is the sport I love and i've dedicated my life to it. My goals start off with certain meets I would like to make, such as Seniors and Futures, and I am focusing a lot on school to have a balance of both for college. I bring to my team everything i've got, and my goal is to find a college where I can contribute and develop these skills on a team that has a like-minded focus.
