I have always had a love for the sport of swimming and as a student athlete, I have always had the goal to pursue swimming at the collegiate level. Throughout my swimming career I have been able to learn valuable life lessons like self discipline, determination, confidence and becoming a team player that I believe have shaped me into the person I am today. Not only has swim taught me great life lessons, but has brought me some of my best friends. My education is also very important to me and I realize that there has to be an equal balance between the two.
