Personal Statement

My name is Paris Collins and I live in Northern  Nevada.  I’ve been in the water ever since I can remember but I started swimming for a team when I was 6 and started going to competitions when I was 7.  I come from a very competitive family and that drive for something was handed down to me.  

When I was 13 my times were at a Division 3  level. All my coaches said I was going to break  high school records set by seniors my freshman year. 

Academically I’ve been an A student all trough out my school years.  My 8th grade teacher recommended me for freshman honors english.  My GPA stays above a 3.8.  I am currently in leadership and Future Farmers of America (FFA) I’ve always had that school spirit. School is my first priority followed by swimming. My plans for college consists of studying  in Agribusiness or Animal Science  as well as swimming for a team .
