Gianna Cofone '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! I am Gianna Cofone, a 16-year-old swimmer from New Jersey. I have been swimming competitively since I was about 6, but fell in love with the water ever since my father, a former swimmer, threw me in the deep end at the ripe age of 2. 

I proudly attend Trinity Hall, an all-girls private school in the Catholic tradition. We have been Non-Public B state champions for 5 years in a row. 

My club affiliation is with Greater Monmouth YMCA, formerly known as Red Bank YMCA, coached by Jack Caucino.  

Not only is swimming something that helps clear my head, but it is also something that keeps me physically fit and holds me accountable for time management to meet my rigorous academic schedule.  For me, swimming is where my best friends are. They are the people that know me well and share my common interests.
