Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kelsey Koos and I am a senior in high school and 6'1, 155, four-year varsity swimmer. I first began swimming when I was only 3 years old, i began competing in meets shortly after being able to complete and race laps. Ever since I was about 10 years old I knew i wanted to be a part of an excelling college swim team and I could not wait to finally get there! With hard work, strength, my height, and determination I know I will have what it takes to succeed in college swimming! Over the years I have also partaken in other school sports and extra curricular activities. I have also been a four year varsity lacrosse player and cheerleader. These sports help me learn to be apart of the team and to set goals for not only yourself but your team so everyone can improve together. I believe that college swimming is where I see myself to not only improve and excel in swimming but to help me develop into the type of person I will hopefully become after college.
