Katarina Gagnon '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Katarina Gagnon. I am a junior year at Eastern Regional High School. I have been swimming competitivley for 11 years and fell in love with the sport since I was a toddler splashing around in the kiddy pool. My first and most memorable race was at 4 years old in the pouring rain outdoor for my summer swim team because there wasn‘t enough 8 and under girls to complete the C relay. Since then my love for swimming hasn’t changed and I will bring that excitement into college swimming. I swim for both my school's team and South Jersey Aquatic Club. As a swimmer, I not only show up to practices, but I am 100% commited to trying my best and learning from what my coaches tell me. Both in the pool and classroom I am dedicated and put in hard work so that I am happy with both my grades and times. I love to bring positive energy wherever I go and encourage my teamates whether it is behind the blocks giving them a pep talk or cheering from the sidelines.
