Holland Spangler '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!

My name is Holland Spangler.  Currently, I am a sophomore at Kingsway Regional High School located in New Jersey. My swimming journey started at age 6 when my parents enrolled me in swim lessons.  Those led me to my first meet and I hated it. I quit right then and there, never expecting to return. Then, at the age of 11, somehow my friends convinced me to join their summer swim team. It was then and there that my love for the sport was born.

As with many other swimmers, the past few years have been a challenge when it comes to training and athletics. Finding places to swim during lockdown was a struggle. From friends’ pools to lakes we made it work! Now I am more ready than ever to work hard and swim fast! When it comes to colleges, I’m looking for a place that can help take my athletics and academics to the next level.  I’m not only looking for a team, but friends and people I can connect with. I have big goals for myself both in and out of the classroom.  I am excited to work towards reaching them through hard work and determination!
