Swimming has changed my perspective as a student and an athlete. Specifically, the impact of a positive attitude as well as an open mind on personal growth. I constructively recognize both gains and setbacks, correcting course to keep me on track toward my goals. I strive to challenge myself. In college, I look forward to surrounding myself with equally driven peers who push and support me. I bring community, cooperation, and leadership to a team. I care about the greater team success and team morale. Academically, I have aspirations to continue into graduate school. A multi-faceted foundation in college will open unexpected opportunities to explore my interests in journalism, psychology, and creative writing. I am super excited about college.
