Hello! My name is Hannah Alexander and I love swimming because of the challenge it presents. I began swimming in 8th grade (2021) while also playing basketball and soccer. The next year, as a freshman (2022), I decided to focus solely on swimming, training and competing both short-course and long-course seasons with Hillsborough Aquatic Club. Homeschooled since kindergarten, my sophomore year (2023), I entered a local public school (Voyager Academy) and helped the Varsity swim team win the 1A/2A Conference Championship. I also swam my second short-course and long-course seasons with HAC. The physical and mental demands of swimming have shaped and formed me into a stronger person. I have gained so much satisfaction and joy from being a part of my club team and high school teams. I am thankful to my teammates, coaches, and parents for helping me this far, and most importantly I'm thankful to God for the opportunity and ability to swim. I hope to swim in college and am excited to see what the future holds!
