It has been my dream since I was a little girl to swim in college. I would see the tight bonds between the teams and have learned, the older I get, the closer the teams get. I am a positive person who will encourage my team mates and push them to reach their goals, while I am achieving mine. I am never satisfied with something. I always can find the one thing that could make my swim better and focus on it, making sure it is fixed. I have the same aspect in school. I am not satisfied with my grade when I know the mistakes I made. I study harder, ask for help, and make sure I am 100% certain that I understand the content. I am competitive; hold myself to the highest ethics and integrity; and am very coachable. On June 3, 2017 I competed and placed 2nd at the North Carolina Open Water Championship in the 5k. I was the second female finisher in all categories. This recognition is a very big honor to me and proved to me that the hard work I'm putting in at practice, is paying off.
