When I was in my freshman year of high school I realized how much swim meant to me. When I am swimming my mind is clear and I feel at ease. Swim has taught me that it is okay not to see immediate progress, somethings in life take time to develop.
During my junior year I suffered a major injury, I tore my ACL and I had the quad draft reconstructive surgery. From this recovery process I have learned to be even more on top of my goals, I have learned to never let myself settle in the comfort zone. Having to go through the long process of recovery I have become mentally and physically stronger. I believe I am a leader and a good team player in and outside of school, I am my schools School Captain and I am also my schools NHS Vice President.
