Blair Pichola '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved swimming ever since I started when I was five years old.  I knew that I would want to do it as long as I possibly could. Over the years I’ve become self-motivated and competitive . I have a lot of  passionate for this sport. I have gotten to see first hand both my sisters compete in four years of college athletics. My older sister was a varsity swimmer  all four years  in college. As well as my  middle sister who is a varsity fencer  all four years in college , and making it to nationals. I know it takes a lot of strength,  determination and perseverance to be a student athlete. I believe I have the resources and the skills to successfully balance that opportunity.  Swimming competitive  has help me overcome obstacles in my life and achieve success in and out of the pool.  The teammates I surround myself with and the friendships I have made , have enhanced my life beyond belief. I can’t wait to extend my journey into college, competing in a sport I really enjoy. Being a student athlete is something I look forward too. I realize that these types of opportunities are limited. I want to make the most of my college experience  that I possibly can.  Including  working  hard on my studies, making lifelong friendships. Challenging myself athletically, and reaching my full potential.
