Personal Statement

Hello! I am Shailla Mejia, class of 2024, sixteen year old swimmer from Pennsylvania. I have been swimming competitively for ten years now and look forward to using my experience from swimming in the collegiate level. I am a sprint backstroker and freestyler, with overall solid times for all sprint and mid distance events. In college, I want to be able to reach a level of speed and strength higher than what I have reached now.
