Brooke Simpson '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooke Simpson and I am in the class of 2021 and I would like to share a little bit about myself. I currently attend James Bowie High School, will take part in the Bowie swim team, as well as continuing to do club swim at Austin Swim Club with Senior One. I started club swimming around two and a half years ago and could not have made a better decision. Coming in, I was just a summer league swimmer so the expectation I set for myself was low as I really began to recognize and understand all the amazing talent in the club swimming world.  I would have to say my hard work and dedication has gotten me to where I am today, along with my parents and friends and coaches. I have grown tremendously and could not be more thankful for the opportunities I have had. I know I have a lot more work to do and will continue to work as hard as I can and always try my best because that is just the kind of person I am. I love to be a leader and really set a good example as far as attitude and how we can all grow when we are in a positive training environment.  Along with my athleticism, strong academics, and personality,  I think what would make me a strong team player on any team is truly just my love and appreciation for the sport and my eagerness to grow.
