Kimberly Sanchez '24 Recruiting Profile

As the eldest daughter and first-generation American, I've always been pushed to be my best and reach my goals. Growing up Latina has not always been easy but, I've been taught the importance of responsibility and hard work. My unique perspective can bring qualities a school has never seen before. 

I've been swimming since I was 7 years old, and the pool has always been a place where I can escape life and focus on something special. I know that I will succeed in collegiate-level swimming because of my determination and passion. I work hard all year round to ensure I am always making progress toward my goals, which I have reached every year. 

Not only am I a diligent swimmer I am also very engaged in my classroom, I have always taken all advanced classes and had A-B grades. I enjoy helping other students and strive to make the classroom environment a better place which I would also be doing in college. I would like to attend a college with high competitiveness where I can push myself not only in the pool but also in the classroom. I hope to study nursing and business and I hope to study either of those in college.
