Andrea 400 F Indi...With many years of swimming, you learn that you have to be dedicated, organized, and ambitious. I am a highly driven and motivated individual who always comes to practice with a positive attitude and aspires to spread that positivity with those around me. 11 years of swimming has taught me that there is always more to learn and always something more to perfect. I am dedicated to learning and improving myself and my swimming career. Not only do I rise to the role of being a team leader, but I also communicate efficiently with my coaches and teammates. Swimming has instilled lifelong skills of teamwork, leadership, and building character and I want to continue to pursue it at the collegiate level. In college, I plan on building on my strengths for myself and as a teammate as well as absorb the positive energy that comes from a strong and rich team atmosphere.
My goal is to attend a college that thrives both athletically and academically. Keeping an all A honor roll as well as staying top 3% of my class is extremely important to me and is one of my top priorities as an athlete. Attending a school that is academically challenging and supportive to student-athletes is important. Taking challenging and demanding classes, including AP and college courses, has taught me how to stay organized and manage my time wisely as I do high school practices in the morning and club practices after school. I am someone who finds hard work rewarding. I want to find the right place where I can push myself in the pool and in the classroom and aspire to be a role model for those around me.
I am excited and look forward to communicating and meeting with coaches. I am confident that I will find the right fit that will provide me with new opportunities and reach my goals.
