Hi there! After graduating in 2017, I'd be thrilled to swim for the college of my choice, focusing on a balance between success in the water and out. As of now, I'd like to pursue an engineering degree and my dream job would be an Engineer for Disney. School has always been important to me and I love learning new things. However, swimming has always been my passion and refuge. I believe that some of the greatest values swimming has taught me are sacrifice, dedication, perseverance, loyalty and having fun in every way possible. I consistently have a smile on the pool deck and I believe that focusing on enjoying and loving the sport has led to my success. I would consider myself a people person and encouraging my teammates is one of my highest priorities. I deeply value my relationships with my coaches and love talking with them swimming-related or not. In addition to shaping my strokes and race strategies, I credit the amazing TWST coaching staff with helping me practice with a purpose and develop mental approaches for daunting sets and nerve-racking races. I am a breaststroker and I believe that sets me apart because in my experiences, they are the minority. I really enjoy the stroke in addition to sprint fly and IM. I think that the greatest thing that makes me different is my emphasis on enjoying swimming. I don't just participate because I have experienced success, but because I love being in the water and racing. I try to make up for what I lack in height and muscle in heart and I want to grow into a mature and kind person and lead others to do the same.
