Anna Matthews '25 Recruiting Profile

I am currently at the end of my junior year, and was privileged to be chosen as team captain for my junior season. I ended this year on an incredible note and accomplished all the goals I was working so hard to achieve! This season I was women's district champion, women's district swimmer of the meet, and state qualifier. My freshman year I also had the privilege of making state and have had 3 incredible seasons so far. Although I didn’t make it to state my sophomore year, it pushed me and taught me that I needed to work harder to achieve the goals I set for myself. I have been swimming club swim for about 5 years, and have loved every second of it! I want to swim for a college where I can be pushed academically, as well as in the water and have an amazing swim family.

On a personal note, I love going on mission trips and working with my church during the summertime. I enjoy volunteering my time to help others in the community. I have a passion for helping people in any way possible. I like to spend my free time riding horses and being with my loved ones. I am very involved in FFA and earned my Greenhand Degree during my sophomore year. I raised and showed poultry the past two springs, as well as competing in Horse Judging.
