I have been swimming since a very young age and have tried other sports but none of them seemed to give me the same thrill as swimming.  I can not imagine myself not swimming after high school. I have been swimming club since 2014 and doing summer swim since the age of 5. Joining the High School swim team in 7th grade, and being on the Varsity team as an 8th grader has been a highlight of my swimming career.  High School swim is as much fun, perhaps more, as summer swim with the NVSL! Swimming is, has been, and will always be my closest friend as it has been with me through the good and bad times.

I tend to gravitate towards people who will push me to be better, the ones who push me out of my comfort zone. That is the kind of environment on a college swim team that I look for. I want to put myself in an encouraging environment where a team feels supported and excited about the sport and the future they've chosen. 

There is nothing that compares to the feeling of diving into a pool, swimming a race or simply swimming at practice. That feeling is the same every time and I want to continue to feel the water throughout my college career.
