I have been swimming for about five years now, and I can't really imagine my life without it. I have always wanted to take my swimming to the next level for a variety of reasons: it helps me relieve stress, I love the competition, and I am extremely passionate and driven in all that I do.
There are many aspects of my life where you can see my passion stand out. For the past four years I have been a member of my school's ROTC unit. I had the privilege of attending Area 5 (VA, MA, and DC) Leadership Academy and graduated as top in academics and overall. I have received the William and Mary leadership award, as nominated by my councilors, and was the only junior captain on my school's varsity swim team. On top of this, I have qualified for State Champs the past three years and have been both an All-Conference and All-Region champion in the 500 free.
One of my greatest attributes is that I am coach-able and have only been swimming for five years. Though that may sound like a long time, it's not that long compared to many other swimmers. I find myself at a stage where I still have room for improvement and swim better each season.
I am in the top 10% of my class and am very involved in my academics. I take rigorous courses when available and have basically straight A's.
I appreciate your consideration of me for your team and am excited to hear from you in the future!
