Greetings! I am Chonlada DiMascolo, a rising Sr at Emerald Ridge High School who is currently involved in an abundance of activities such as the National Honor Society, Jag Crew, Tech Squad, Captain of Emerald Ridge HS Girls Swim Team, the Valley Aquatics Swim Team, and more. Athletically, I am a record holder in 4 (most) of my high school‘s individual 200 free, 500 free, 100 Back, and the 200 free relay. My team has recognized me with seasons’ highest point award and MVP which demonstrates my commitment and devotion. I have also made finals in each of my first 3 seasons at WIAA 4A girls swim and dive state championships: 8th 100 breast freshman year, 7th 200 free and 8th 500 free sophomore, and 4th 500 free and 5th 200 free Jr year. I was the Tacoma Athletics Commission Fall Athlete of the Year for 2018-2019. I also swam at the Speedo Grand Challenge and Futures Championships in club swimming. I was recently selected for USA Swimming‘s 2020 Nat’l Diversity Select camp at the Olympic Training Center, Co Springs, CO. Academically, I received the Gold Presidential award for my high GPA. As mentioned earlier, I am also a part of many leadership programs, including the National Honor Society.
In college I strive to become the greatest role model, a leader for others, and a huge supporter for others. I also strive to work my hardest, accomplish and succeed both academically and athletically as a strong team member whilst continuously learning along the way.
