8/30/2016My name is Elizabeth Dammen and I am currently a junior at Milton High School in Milton, WI.
I am my club team's athlete rep for the WI LSC. During my junior high school season, I was awarded "Most Dedicated" and the "Oustanding Leadership" awards.
Since starting to competitively swim 8 years ago, I can say that I have learned what it takes to dedicate yourself to something you love, and to work towards your goals. I volunteer in the community, at church, and help with the local rec swim team in my free time. I believe that as an upperclassman on the swim team, I am a person to look up to for my work ethic and my leadership qualities. I use obstacles thrown at me as an opportunity to get better, rather than using them as an easy way out. Both in the classroom and in the pool, I can proudly say that I've given 100% effort to everything that I have accomplished thus far. For that, I know that I am fit for collegiate swimming and I am excited to take my swimming to the next level. My goal for my collegiate swimming experience is to be just as successful in the classroom as in the water.
