Personal Statement

My name is Holley Humphrey and I am a rising Junior at Benjamin Russell High School. I have been a proud member of the Benjamin Russell High School Varsity Tennis Team since 7th grade. I currently play #2 singles as well as #1 doubles. My dad taught me how to play tennis at the age of seven. He quickly realized how talented I could become and I began working with coaches across Alabama shortly after. I also began playing in USTA tournaments frequently. I still continue to participate in USTA tournaments. Tennis has taught me how to work efficiently as an individual as well as a team player. I aspire to continue my tennis career in college.
