I'm an aspiring student-athlete who works as hard as I can, with the limited resources I have. I've learned from all sorts of people in my community and have taken in as much knowledge about tennis as I can, but I'm ready to train and work hard for a school that can provide me resources to do so. I keep my grades in school as high as I can while maintaining a balance between life and sports, and strive to be better at both school and tennis.
For the last 2 years, I've trained with my dad who was also a former tennis player to learn the basics and advance quickly. I study when I can about the tactics of tennis and try to find advice that can improve my game. I've met so many coaches who have given me free lessons and many people who were surprised by my skill because I've never had any formal training. I work hard to win but I never could work with a coach long-term due to lack of resources. I'm waiting for the right time and person to commit to and ultimately improve my game.
