Mia Suarez '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mia Suarez and I am a junior at Gulliver Prep in Coral Gables, Florida. I am 16 years old and  extremely passionate about tennis. I train five days a week, 2-3 hours everyday, and play tournaments on weekends. Last year, as a top player for my school's varsity tennis team, we made it to the states semifinals. I went undefeated in districts and regionals. As a freshman, I was also a part of the varsity team playing at a high position in the lineup. In 8th grade, I played #1 on my school's junior varsity team, going undefeated for the season.

In academics, I am part of the International Baccalaureate Programme. I enjoy the IB programme because it challenges me and makes me a well rounded student. I aspire to go to a university that not only has a great tennis program, but also top of the line academics.

 My dedication on the court, in the classroom, and in my foundation, have developed me into a hard worker and a team player. On and off the court, I strive to be a leader and have good sportsmanship.
