Annika Nishida '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annika Nishida, I am a Junior at Waiakea High School in Hilo, Hawaii.  I have been playing tennis since I was 6 years old.  I’m looking to join a college or university tennis program where I can pursue an undergraduate degree in healthcare. 

I am hard working, disciplined and flexible. I worked hard and trained hard year round on my tennis skills, participating in competitive tournaments in and out of state, and high school varsity team competitions which all contributed to my athleticism. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I have received numerous awards for my academic, community service and leadership roles.  In my free time, I also volunteered at a local junior tennis club and helped provide drills to little kids to improve their tennis skills.
