Katrine Boianov '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Katrine! I’ve been playing tennis since I was 5 years old. I play USTA and I have played every Level 1 tournament for my age group until I got to top 50 in the U.S., top 10 in the Midwest, and top 5 in Chicago. I’ve played as 1st singles on the Lake Zurich Varsity Tennis team all four years of high school. I recently placed 4th in the IHSA State tournament and earned an MVP award for the fourth year in a row. I’m a hardworking player who is always willing to learn more and become even better. I treat everyone with respect and I am a person of high integrity. I love being on a team and connecting with my teammates but I’m also very good at working independently. I had a difficult injury this past year which ultimately set me back a little. But that’s all it was — a set back. I do not like to give up. As for my collegiate plans, I’d like to study Economics on the pre-Law track and someday earn my J.D.
