Kimberly Leder '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8 tennis player from Erial, New Jersey and am part of the graduating class of 2010. I have 4 years tennis experience, and have remained as number one varsity singles for three straight years for my High School. Each of those years has resulted in a second all team conference win, as well as a getting to States for the first time in seven years this season. I have managed my High School's boy's varsity tennis team for three straight years as well. I am a member of the USTA and have participated in camps, such as those hosted by Gloucester County College, and have played in a few competitive tournaments. In addition, I have undergone training from a USPTA member. I am an A/B student with around a 3.5 GPA. I understand that I am rather late in the recruiting process,yet I strongly want to continue my athletic career as a tennis player throughout my college experiences and am open to playing at all divisions. I am seeking a college where I can obtain a degree in the English field with classes such as creative writing, english compostion, and journalism. I am presently interested in exploring schools in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area, but I am open to other University options as well. It is important to me that I enter a school with small or medium classes, having the one-on-one attention available wih my professors if needed for extra help. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I can improve my tennis development and strengthen the team of whom I perform for.
