Rachel Homan '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Rachel Homan and I am going to be a senior this fall( class of 2020) at Albuquerque Academy in Albuquerque New Mexico. I would love to play college tennis at a academically strong school. I have won 2nd in state doubles and singles and 1st (x2) in team state. I am number 1 on my high school team and have been since 9th grade, and I've been on the team since 8th. I have also been captain of the team and will continue on into senior year. I have also received sportsmanship awards and academic all district award. In academic honors I've earned Cum Laude and academic distinctions (best in class) in Science, Art, History, Math, English, and Computer Science. I have a strong GPA and I've taken many AP classes. In college I'd love to pursue a degree in engineering because of my love for math and science. I think that I would be a good candidate for a college tennis tea, because I work well wit others, and I give lots of support to my teammates. If they need help with stories, plays, or even academics I am always happy to help. In college I'd love to be a pat of a team that supports everyone and that works well together through the wins and loses.
