Katharina Santos '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Katharina Santos and I am a tennis player at Liberty High School in Frisco, TX. 

A dream of mine, ever since I was little girl, was to be the first person in my family to get a college diploma. As senior year comes around the corner that aspiration of mine is slowly coming closer and closer as the months go by.  Throughout the last couple years, I have dedicated myself to the sport of tennis, playing tournaments in the hot Texas summers, in the winters of Chicago, and sticking to a consistently healthy diet. Over the last year, I have transitioned myself to a plant-based, vegan, diet to improve my personal health so that I may not only live a healthier life, but a longer and more fruitful one. I would love the opportunity to continue my studies in the state of Texas along with playing the sport that love. Knowing three languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English), pouring myself into Ap and Pre-Ap classes, and training for tennis have really impacted the way that I make decisions and taught me great organizational and dedication skills.
