My name is Peyton Kossin. I will be graduating in 2022 from Woods Cross high school in Utah. I’m excited to start this new chapter my life of going to college and playing tennis at the next level. I have had many setbacks throughout my tennis career. The most prominent setback was a 4 inch blood clot in my left shoulder resulting in a rib removal surgery causing my tennis career to be at a halt for 8 months. Through this process it has taught me to love the game even more and fight hard for what I want. I wouldn’t be where I am today without perseverance and dedication.
Academics has played a big role in my life. I have always loved learning new things and I work diligently in all of my classes. I have taken AP and CE classes that have challenged and pushed me to become better. Through these classes, I have found my love for health sciences. My plan is to do pre-medicine as I search for what direction I will go in the health field.
I am a hard worker on and off the court. I love learning new things and receiving feedback to help improve my game. I am so grateful to be playing tennis and doing what I love.
