Jayna Boonstra '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jayna Boonstra, I am a senior at Kenai Central High School in Kenai, Alaska. I am a dedicated cross country and track athlete. I am passionate about running and striving to reach my full potential as both a runner and an individual. On the course I see myself as hard-working, competitive, and driven. I always try to look for ways to improve myself as a runner, while at the same time working together with my teammates to accomplish our team goals. Off the course I see myself as compassionate, encouraging, and upbeat. I work diligently in the classroom by challenging myself with Advanced Placement classes and maintaining a 4.126 GPA. I have a heart for animals and I share this passion by volunteering at our local animal shelter and the annual Junior 4-H horse camp. I would love the opportunity to compete collegiately and continue to improve myself as a student athlete.
