My name Kiya, I am a Hurdle and sprint athlete. I started the 100m Hurdles around the 7th grade and fell in love. My hope is to continue to grow and excel in track and field at the collegiate level. My desire is to obtain a track and field scholarship and continue my college journey as a student-athlete. I am not 100% sure what I want to study in college but it would look like: digital media and photography/ journalism/communications. I would love to attend a school that has a good range of student activities and culture. Diversity is important to me as I venture into my college journey.
