Personal Statement
I believe that my eight years in gymnastics have shaped me into the athlete I am today. It has taught me self-discipline and perseverance. When I started to grow out of gymnastics, I realized that track would be the perfect transition for me into a new sport. I love the individuality aspect of track and field, yet I love being around the people involved in it. With doing sports for the majority of my life I have grown a love for fitness and nutrition outside of my sport. I have also discovered my need for perfection which is something I work on every day because I believe that striving for perfection is harmful. With my loving supportive family, I am able to reach my goals. One of my goals is to finish high school with a 4.0 GPA or greater. I plan to graduate college and attend graduate school after. My main goal when competing in track is to constantly improve in anyway possible. I would love to talk more about myself or your school, so feel free to contact me!
